On the holy occasion of Kartik Purnima, a large mela is held at Barahling Ghat. The Tapti Samagra team ran a cleanliness awareness drive among devotees and visitors.
The team shared the message “Keep the Tapti ghat clean, don’t spread dirt” and requested everyone not to throw puja material, plastic or other waste into the river, and to keep the mela ground and ghat clean.
