Tapti Samagra Social Welfare Foundation (“Tapti Samagra”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect on taptisamagra.org, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe.

- When you donate: your name, mobile number, email, city and (optionally) address, the cause and amount, and any dedication you add.
- When you volunteer or contact us: your name, phone, email, city, the areas you want to help with, and your message.
- Payment information: payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. Your card, UPI or bank details are entered on Razorpay’s secure page — we never see or store them. We receive only the payment status and a payment ID.
- Basic technical data: like most websites, our server may record your IP address and browser type for security.
2. How we use your information
- To process your donation and email your receipt.
- To contact you about volunteering, your message, or your donation.
- To share updates about our work, only if you have been in touch with us. You can ask us to stop at any time.
- To keep accurate records as required by law.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not publish donors’ names.
3. Sharing your information
We share information only with Razorpay (to process payments), with our email and hosting providers (to run this website), or when required by law or a government authority.
4. Cookies and third-party services
This website uses only the cookies needed for it to work. Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts and maps from Google Maps, and the donation page loads Razorpay’s checkout; these services may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
5. Keeping your information safe
Our website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection. Donation and message records are stored in our website’s admin area, which only authorised members of our team can access.
6. Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing us. We will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to keep some donation records where the law requires it.
7. Children
Our forms are meant for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to fill them in for you.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
